Out of the box thinking

Learn to think out of the box. that's what everybody says to people attending interview.whar's this out of the box thinking man? a clever witty answer to a situation.
I'm gonna give some instances about this.Your answer should be smart and different.
Like say the interviewer asked a question- you're driving ur car on a wild,stormy night n it's raining heavily.You pass by a bus stand n see three people waiting for the bus: one an old lady who is very ill n another an old friend who once saved ur life. The third one is the prefect partner u've been dreaming about.Which one would you choose to offer a ride knowing well that only one passenger could be in your car.
The answer should be like i would give the car keys to my old friend n let him take the old lady to the hospital and i would wait for tha bus with ma partner.this is just an instance about that out of box thinking. You could also notice it in daily life while chatting with friends.
