I've been thinking about self defence for women for along time. You might be thinking that the world would be a better place with all the modernisation n civilisation sorry to say that its still a hostile world especially for women. There are many incidents in India n abroad about sexual harrassment n other violences against women.It always happens during the new year celebrations. It makes my adrenaline rush and it wants to fight rather than flight when i think of molestations by mob.I don't think there is any age for these harassments it could happen for a young girl below teens or to a teenager or even to women who've crossed their thirtyfives.It could happen anywhere too.It never matters whether you are pretty or not ..cutest n prettiest don't survive here.
So what can we do rather than to equip ourselves against these anti social elements.We can use pepper spray, taser,martail arts for self defence.The Pepper spray is also called an OC spray, where OC stands for Oleoresin Capsicum. It is basically a powerful lachrymatory agent, a chemical compound that can cause severe irritation in the eyes and ears and even lead to temporary blindness and severe pain. . You can hit a man or your attacker in the groin and the nose for maximum impact. The strongest weapons of a woman’s body include the head, elbow, and knees. Martial art will teach you to use these body parts effectively to disable or wound your opponent temporarily. A hit with the elbow to the nose will not only stun them but also give you enough time to get away. .
